I’m still thinking about the lenses I use to view the world. I plan on spending time on a project this spring around this idea.

I have also been thinking about the metaphorical connect of photography to my day job, Generational Estate Planning. I’ve posted several thoughts on this over at my work website which you can see by clicking this button.

Photography is not documentary, but intuition, a poetic experience. It’s drowning yourself, dissolving yourself, and then sniff, sniff, sniff – being sensitive to coincidence. You can’t go looking for it; you can’t want it, or you won’t get it. First you must lose your self. Then it happens. – Henri Cartier-Bresson

Take a look at the Something to Think About page. Here you will find images, from me and others, that caused me to ‘lean in’ and/or return to repeatedly. These will turn over as I find something new to contemplate. I will give credit whenever possible but I’ve had some for so long I don’t remember where I first saw the image!

FYI, if any of my images catch your eye contact me and we can talk about getting you a print, a canvas or some other medium.

And I still believe the best camera is the one you have with you. My iPhone (I have never owned an Android based phone but I’ve seen great images from them as well!) 14 Pro is capable of creating stunning images. I have been spending a lot of time using the Leica LUX app which has allowed me create some interesting images. I realize that Leica purists ( I have a Q2 Monochrome so I guess I’m close to one!) have a lot of negative comments on this but the LUX app is not trying to be a Leica camera, just another option the camera we have with us most of the time. You decide. You can see some of these images on the Leica LUX page.
